Micro Mayhem! privacy policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Micro Mayhem! is made by Ivan (WASABI Entertainment) in Boston, Massachusetts. This policy explains what the game does with your information. Short version: nothing leaves your device.
What we collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. The game has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking.
What stays on your device
Your progress and settings are saved only on your device (and in your own iCloud backup if you use one). We cannot see them.
Microphone and speech recognition (optional)
Micro Mayhem! is played by touch. The microphone is used only if you turn on the optional Voice levels setting, which is off by default. Until you do, the game never asks for microphone or speech recognition permission and never listens.
With Voice levels on, the microphone is used only during voice levels such as Walk It and Sing It, from the level’s countdown to its result screen. It stops when you pause, leave the app, get interrupted, or move on to the next level. Sing It goes by how loud you are. Walk It also listens for the word “HIDE!” with Apple’s speech recognition, set to run on your iPhone. If your iPhone can’t recognize speech on the device, it doesn’t run, and a loud shout still counts. Speech recognition may also run during other voice levels, but only Walk It uses it.
All of this happens on your iPhone. The game never records or saves audio, keeps no logs, and has no network code, so your voice is never sent to us or anyone else. Only a loudness level and a “heard it” signal reach the game, never audio or text.
iOS shows its standard speech recognition prompt, which says speech data may be sent to Apple. Micro Mayhem! asks iOS to recognize speech on your iPhone only, but how iOS handles it is up to Apple. You can turn Voice levels off at any time, and change these permissions in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and Speech Recognition.
Children
Because we collect no information from anyone, we collect none from children.
Third parties
We do not sell or share data with anyone. Apple may collect data under its own privacy policy when you download apps from the App Store.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if online features are added, we will update this page and the date above before the change ships.
